How do you start writing? - Vanessa

I have no idea… how this works… how anything works.
But my head is always full. A belly full of sentences, strung together in a slimy knot of nothing.
Restless, fearless, and unapologetically disgusting.
I cannot steer these thoughts. Cannot control them.
I have no idea how this works, how anything works.
I just cherry-pick the words that work for the work.

The trick that sticks is to wait. Just wait.
Let the night reset the brain and welcome the next day.
The day always provides the right from wrong, the good from bad.

You get a belly full of great sentences back, so incredible that they won’t leave your brain,
but they will accept a forget when you let them rest on a piece of paper.
